The Nickel-A-Dance concerts, a New Orleans family-friendly jazz-dance
tradition since 1994, will return for a month-long series of concerts
in October, 2009.

The new venue will be
La Maison de la Musique
508 Frenchmen (Formerly Ray?s Boom Boom).

AND: IT?S STILL FREE!

La Maison de la Musique features many renovations and improvements to
the balcony, dance floor, restrooms, and sound system.

The Nickel-A-Dance Soirees began with one concert in 1994. As they
have done in the past, a group of anonymous music fans continue to
join together with the Jazz Centennial Celebration and a growing list
of sponsors to celebrate jazz. The Nickel-A-Dance Soirées have helped
revive the neighborhood dance traditions that used to be widespread
across the city.
