From hymns to traditional jazz to rhythm-and-blues, New Orleans is music.


Spend the evening hearing and learning about the sounds our city has influenced.
New Orleans author Jason Berry will read from his new edition of Up From the Cradle of Jazz: New Orleans Music Since World War II.


Enlivening Berry’s readings will be a band featuring Dr. Michael White on clarinet and John Boutté on vocals.
