One of the concepts for Green Designs is to have that handmade item on the rack, pret-a-porter, ready to wear!
The inspiration for Green Designs came while preparing items they could not sell for donation. Owner Stephanie Hirsh looked at all the great fabric on old outdated clothing items and suddenly the idea of teaming up with local designers was born. How simple and smart it would be to repurpose on a regular basis, not just as fundraiser thought Stephanie.

The first showing of this line will be at “Fashion with a Twist” for the New Orleans Fashion Week at Twist. A call for designers, artists, and seamstresses is being sent out for this first preview
