Loyola Symphony Orchestra 2009 Performance
Dvoraks Delightful Cello Concerto! The Loyola Symphony Orchestra presents an afternoon of great music? We will start with the Enigma Variations by Edward Elgar. A fun and intriguing piece depicting several interesting personalities in the composers? life. I am sure we can each identify with some of these personalities and their traits. But we will keep it a secret? The second selection will feature our dear Prof. Allen Nisbet as soloist on the fabulous Dvorak Cello Concerto in B, a monumental work in the orchestral repertoire, a true gem. Dear colleagues and friends of the Loyola Symphony Orchestra, You are cordially invited to our Sunday March 8, 2009, 3:00pm performance (Roussel Hall) 6363 St. Charles Ave. New Orleans, LA We hope you will be able to join us and bring along friends and family.
