Brother Tyrone + The Gospel Stars
Brother Tyrone played at Chickie Wah Wah recently for his CD release
party. The scene was jumpin. Accompanied by the soulful sounds of
the ?Gospel Allstars?, Tyrone reached down deep and gave us lyric
after lyric from his new album ?Mindbender?. Several guests showed
up throughout the night and we were even graced with a few riffs from
New Orleans guitarist, Guitar Joe. Come back to Chickie Wah Wah on
Saturday, March 7, for the next Brother Tyrone Show! Tyrone?s album is

Last Monday night was jazz clarinetist Evan Christopher?s premier show
for his new Monday night gig at Chickie Wah Wah. All who were in
attendance were dazzled by his fantastic charisma and lucid styling of
his own tunes and many classics. Accompanied by bass legend, James
Singleton, and New Orleans drummer extraordinaire, Shannon Powell, the
trio kept everyone mesmerized in the intimate atmosphere in what is
shaping up to be weekly New Orleans tradition. Join us every Monday
