After nearly 10 years, Louisiana's legendary blue-eyed soul band, THE BOOGIE KINGS, returns. Saturday April 11th 8:30pm to SOUTHPORT HALL 200 Monticello Ave. featuring, GG SHINN, GREG MARTINEZ, MARK KLEIN, JON SMITH AND THE BOOGIE KINGS HORNS. with special guest LUTHER KENT. During the 60's and 70's the BOOGIE KINGS played at a number of different venues around New Orleans and had a huge following. One of which was THE CLUB SANDS formerly located at 801 Jefferson Hwy.(THE HOME OF THE STARS) Come out and see this great band,and all of your old friends from THE SANDS.
