THE FESSTERS FREE SHOW AT BLUE NILE
Show off your Mardi Gras endurance and conclude a weekend of Mardi Gras funkathon at Blue Nile with THE FESSTERS! THE FESSTERS are as New Orleans as it gets. Named for the New Orleans piano-playing icon Professor Longhair, known as "FESS", THE FESSTERS are a soulful, funky good time for people of all ages and backgrounds. Originally a house band at the popular club Dba on Frenchmen St., this band has evolved into a Crescent City powerhouse. Founded by singer-songwriter Eric Miller, ya throw in keyboard master Trevor Brooks, Chris "Badger" Pylant on drums, Dave Stover on bass, and guitar super freak David James, and you've got a fan favorite on the New Orleans music scene and around the country. Be sure not to miss this funky Fat Tuesday performance! Additional details and information about the events can be found at www.backbeatfoundation.org or by visiting the Foundation?s Myspace and Facebook pages.
