Lafayette native and Louisiana favorite, Marc Broussard, channels the
multiple spirits of classic R&B and soul into contemporary sounds such
as ?Home?, ?Gavin?s Song? & ?Why Should She Wait?. Broussard has
toured with such giants as Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band, Willie
Nelson, O.A.R., Bonnie Raitt, and others and has collaborated with
some of the top song craftsmen in the business. Not only is Broussard
a talented musician, song-writer, and vocalist; his philanthropic cred
is strong too. He has donated all proceeds from the sale of his
"Bootleg to Benefit the Victims of Hurrican Katrina", took a
month-long tour to perform for U.S. Military installations in 2007,
built homes with Habitat for Humanity and has donated his service as a
spokesperson for Louisiana's United Way of Acadiana. All of this have
contributed to Hard Rock International's decision in 2007 to present
Broussard with its "Love All, Serve All" Award in recognition of his multifaceted generosities.
