Harrah's New Orleans proudly presents blues guitarist, singer and producer Johnny Winter to Harrah’s Theatre, Saturday, Jan. 31, at 8 p.m.
Winter became a major star in the ‘60s signing to Columbia records. His fresh take on classic blues landed him a job working with idol Muddy Waters. Their partnership produced a number of Grammy-winning recordings, including the album Nothing but the Blues.
Winters is best known for his highest-charting album Still Alive and Well released in 1973 and his most recent album Raised on Blues.
